SE Deanery Family Camp

Family Camp is an annual event sponsored by the SE Deanery. It is held at the Methodist Camp at Eagle River, beyond the end of the road in Juneau.

Around 40 people of all ages gather for fun and games, indoors and out, with times for worship and just being together in beautiful SE Alaska.

There is an incredible collection of dozens of games Gene Smith has gathered and provided to the camp.  There is always a fresh option for activity, inside or out.

Family Camp works because families come out.  The participation of adults – parents, grandparents, and other volunteers – guarantee that the meals are provided, the cleaning and the dishes get done, and the play and worship are fun and safe.
